Important News: Human Forum 2009

The Human Forum is the platform where the Alliance expresses to its fullest, its function of sharing the passion, of connecting. We have had 7 Human Forums to date: from 2003 to 2006, in Puerto Rico; and two in 2008, one in Costa Rica and another one in Barcelona. For financial and restructuring reasons we did not have a Forum in 2007.

This year we were planning to have a Forum in San Diego. We were quite advanced in its planning and had secured partnerships with the Lincoln Center Institute and the San Diego Museum of Art. In view of the financial and economic crisis that besieges the world today, the Alliance Executive Committee has decided that it would be appropriate to postpone the 2009 Human Forum, and to use our energy and resources to continue enhancing and strengthening our service platform of connecting people who are involved in personal and social transformation throughout the world. We will keep you posted through this Newsletter of continuing developments.
