Sahabhagi is a citizen – government platform.

It is an initiative that takes forward the formula of Public Private Partnership to bring about citizens’ participation in and ownership of development processes at the basic governance unit – the ward.


In last month’s newsletter we featured a story about Kali Brauckmann and her efforts to stop trophy Grizzly hunting in B.C, Canada. Kali’s efforts have not gone un-noticed! She is quickly gaining support from many individuals, organizations and the media.

The first European Human Forum which took place in Barcelona last November was a great success on all fronts : the high participation, the involvement of the attendees, the collective enthusiasm and the numerous congratulations on the event.

What is the Story of Stuff?


National Volunteer Week is taking place April 19 – 25, 2009 , and to celebrate the occasion, I’m spearheading an initiative where I'll live life without shoes for the entire week. Cancer Schmancer’s Founder, President and Visionary, Fran Drescher, is a uterine cancer survivor who was misdiagnosed and mistreated for two years by eight doctors for a peri-menopause condition she did not have before being diagnosed with uterine cancer.
